is a 2010 3D American computer animated comedy-drama film produced by Crest Animation Productions and Richard Rich. The film is directed by Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck, starring the voices of Justin Long, Hayden Panettiere, Dennis Hopper (in his last film appearance), Danny Glover and Christina Ricci.
Description:
Humphrey (Justin Long) and Kate (Hayden Panettiere) are two wolves from the same pack in Canada’s Jasper National Park but on opposite ends of the social order. Kate, daughter of the main Alpha male Winston (Danny Glover) and his mate Eve (Vicki Lewis), is herself an Alpha and takes her duty to the pack seriously. Humphrey, on the other hand, is an Omega wolf, the lowest of the pack, and spends his days making fun with his other Omega friends. Despite his low rank in the pack, Humphrey falls in love with Kate and is valued in the pack as a peacemaker by virtue of his affable nature.
During her youth, Kate left to begin Alpha school with her father. She returns as a fully trained Alpha but on her first hunt (the Alphas are the ones responsible for providing food for the pack), two members of the Eastern pack cross into Western pack territory due to the lack of caribou in their own land. The hunt is ruined and the packs are nearly at war with each other. The two packs have had a bitter rivalry ever since Tony (Dennis Hopper), the Alpha male of the Eastern pack, commanded his wolves to cross over into Western territory (against pack law) in order to hunt, to prevent their pack from starving. Winston and Tony meet up one night and arrange for Kate to marry Garth (Chris Carmack), Tony's son. Kate, having a sense of responsibility and duty, wearily agrees for the good of the pack and she meets Garth at the Howling Rock.

Description;
A stage actress, Julie wants to use her star sapphire for her upcoming play and asks for Mouri Kogoro's help to protect it after showing Kogoro a letter from Kaitou Kid. On the day of the theft, Kid appears at the theatre disguised up as Kudo Shinichi but ends up fleeing in the end without the jewel. To thank them, Julie invites Kogoro and everyone to Hakodate, and they all travel on an airplane to get there. In the air, one of the show actor, Shinjo, who was supposed to be elsewhere and Ran's mother, Kisaki Eri, joins them on the plane. As the plane takes off, Julie comes in physical contact with most of the individuals she invited, making them all suspects to her death by consuming a piece of poisoned chocolate, a homicide later found to be committed by her makeup artist, Natsuki.
The captains were also poisoned from Julie and were not able to pilot the plane, so Shinjo agrees to take over because he supposedly "took courses", and appoints Conan to assist him. Conan figures out that Shinjo is Kaitou Kid when Conan is asked to assist, as this logic would not apply in a similar situation. The storm and fire at the airport make it impossible to land while the plane fuel is running low. Conan picks a stable area that can support a commercial plane. Ran and Sonoko Suzuki eventually take over piloting the plane while Kid escapes by jumping off the plane and Conan has to "go to the bathroom." Conan then switches over to Shinichi's voice and guides Ran for landing the plane. During the flight, Ran mentions how Shinichi is like an eclipse; one moment he's there, the other he's not. When the plane lands, Ran tells Shinichi that she loves him, but ends the moment by telling him that she suddenly sees lights at the site.
It turns out that Kid went near a police station and used police cars (because this policeman is obsessed with catching him) as guiding lights to land the plane. All went well, and the movie ends with Ran talking to Shinichi over the phone again arguing about silly things, thinking that it was Kid who guided her to land the plane, and is relieved that her secret isn't out.

Description:
The 9th annual Detective Conan movie sets sail on a 100 million yen luxurious cruise. Fifteen years ago, a cruise named Yashiromaru, built by the Yashiro group, sank while sailing. In the present, a new cruise, the Saint Aphrodite, was built by the Yashiro group and Conan and the rest were invited through Sonoko. Earlier, the husband of the CEO of the Yashiro family group, an established ship architect, had a heart-attack and drove his car down a cliff. On the second day of the cruise, the CEO herself was found murdered in her room. Later, her father, the President of the Yashiro group was also found missing. He had been thrown off the cruise into the ocean, seemingly by the same person. At the welcoming party, Kogorou shows off his deduction skills, and concluded that the sub-designer of the cruise, Akiyoshi, was the murderer. However, Conan has different ideas. Kusaka, a scriptwriter who worked in co-operation with Akiyoshi on a script, was the culprit. Kusaka reveals that the accident from 15 years ago was a scheme to sink the ship deliberately to get insurance. His father was murdered when he discovered the captain of the ship was drugged and left to die. Kusaka immediately set off bombs and escaped by sea and the Detective Boys gave chase. After they successfully took down the criminal, more bombs were ignited. All passengers were evacuated, but Ran returned to her hiding place during the hide-and-seek game to find a "gold medal" made by sea-shells the Detective Boys made for her. However, as the ship swayed, she fainted in the enclosed area.
It turns out Akiyoshi was the main murderer after all, and she was the one who did all three killings and made Kusaka think that he did them himself. She also revealed that her father was the captain who died while the cruise ship sank. Kogorou, however, deduced correctly this time and managed to arrest Akiyoshi. He was originally trying to find evidence to prove her innocence because of her strong resemblance to his wife, but the more investigation he does, the more guilty she became. As Kogorou and Conan began to evacuate, they found out that Ran was missing. They find her under the deck of the boat with the help of a fire axe. Afterwards a helicopter comes and picks them up. At the post credits, Conan explained he knew where Ran was because when he kicked the volleyball, Ran said she heard a soccer ball, meaning she was in a place with a tough wall. The detective kids come, and told Ran they made a better "gold medal" for her, and put it on her.

Description:
In 1863, where an alternate nineteenth century Europe has made tremendous strides in steampunk-themed technologies, scientist Lloyd Steam and his son Edward have succeeded, after a lengthy expedition, in discovering a pure mineral water. They believe the water can be harnessed as an ultimate power source for steam engines (the main industrial engine of the time). An experiment in Russian Alaska goes terribly wrong, with Edward being engulfed in freezing gases, but results in the creation of a strange ball-like apparatus.
In 1866, back in England, Edward's son, Ray Steam, is an avid young inventor who works at a textile mill in Manchester as a maintenance boy, often working on a personal steam-powered monowheel at home. While he usually lives alone with his mother, his friend Emma and her brother Thomas have recently been sent over to stay until their mother returns from a business trip. Ray's life is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of a package from his grandfather Lloyd; the metallic ball seen earlier, along with its schematics and a letter instructing him to guard it. Then, Alfred and Jason, two members from a company called "The O'Hara Foundation" arrive and attempt to steal the ball, but Lloyd appears just in time to distract them, allowing Ray to escape with the package. With Emma's help, he manages to activate his monowheel as more agents, operating a large steam automotive, give chase, succeeding in thwarting it on a railway line by putting it in the way of an incoming train. By coincidence, Robert Stephenson, who was the intended recipient of the Steam Ball, was on his way to Manchester to meet with the elder Dr. Steam, and happens to be on the train. However, as the train approaches the station, a zeppelin carrying Alfred descends over their compartment and kidnaps Ray, taking the ball with them.

The ARCAM Corporation and their military arm, the ARCAM Private Army, can stop these forces from destroying themselves with their elite secret agents known as Spriggans (or Strikers).

Description:
13 years after the conquest of Earth by the Invid in the wake of the Second Robotech War, and after several interim attempts at relief that ended in failure, the combined fleet of the Robotech Expeditionary Force (REF) arrives in 2044 for a final showdown aimed at reclaiming the Earth. The events of the first half of The Shadow Chronicles tell the tale of this battle, overlapping with the events of the last episodes of the original Robotech series, 84 (Dark Finale) and 85 (Symphony of Light) but depicting the showdown from the vantage point of space rather than concentrating on the activities of the Earth-based resistance and REF ground forces. From this vantage point, fans will recognize some familiar scenes, but details are added. The energy weapons of REF warships are shown to be synchro-cannons similar to the one showcased in Episode 83 (Reflex Point). The synchro-cannons, Protoculture-cloaking "shadow devices" used by the REF mecha, and untested doomsday Neutron-S missiles are all also revealed to have been gifted to the REF by the Haydonites, a race encountered by the Expeditionary Force during the events that have transpired on the other side of the galaxy in the time since it first departed Earth decades earlier. We also meet Marcus Rush, brother of Scott Bernard's fiancee Marlene who died in the Mars Division offensive, and Maia Sterling, the "other sister of Max and Mirya" who years earlier greeted her sister Dana in a Protoculture induced vision seen in Episode 60 (Catastrophe) and now serves as Commander of the famous Skull Squadron.
The Place Promised in Our Early Days- is a 90-minute Japanese anime film created and directed by Makoto Shinkai, following his previous work Voices of a Distant Star. As in the previous film, the soundtrack was composed by Tenmon. Unlike the previous film which was largely created by Makoto on his own, Kumo no Mukou was a full scale production as reflected by the better animation quality and the longer overall length
Description:
The Place Promised in Our Early Days takes place in Japan during the late 1990s in an alternate timeline. Though it is not directly explained in the film, the world in the anime apparently diverges from Japan's in the decades following World War II. In 1974, Japan underwent the Separation: the southern part, including the main islands of Honshū and Kyūshū, were occupied by the United States, while the northern island, HokkaidŠ(or Ezo, as it is called in the anime), was occupied by the "Union" (presumably referring to the Soviet Union). Also in that same year, the Union began the construction of a strange tower on Hokkaido designed by a scientist named Ekusun Tsukinoe. On a clear day, the incredible height of the tower makes it visible from as far away as Tokyo.
By the 1990s when the story begins, the U.S. occupation of southern Japan has ended, and the two nations have formed a pact called the Alliance. Hokkaido remains under the control of the Union; contact between the North and the South is all but suspended; and border clashes are common. An underground group committed to reunifying Japan known as the Uilta Liberation Front exists in the South. Covertly supported by some Alliance government officials, it makes incursions into and executes attacks on Union territory.

Description:
The movie opens with a recap of Ichigo Kurosaki's final battle with Ulquiorra in Hueco Mundo, which Ichigo wins after being forced to transform into a incredibly powerful and completely uncontrollable Hollow. Some time later (i.e. after the completion of the Aizen arc), Ichigo is living peacefully in the real world when Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai arrive, but refuse to inform Ichigo of the reason for their visit. Shortly after this, Ichigo's school is attacked by a set of powerful, mask-wearing spirits called the Unforgiven (Togabito). When one of the Unforgiven has his mask broken it is revealed that they have escaped from Hell: breaking the mask triggers the appearance of one of the guardians of Hell, a KushanÄda, who then impales the unmasked Unforgiven and drags him back to Hell.
Description: Kurosaki Ichigo is a teenager gifted with the ability to see spirits. His life is drastically changed by the sudden appearance of a Shinigami—one who governs the flow of souls between the human world and the afterlife—named Kuchiki Rukia, who arrives in search of a Hollow, a dangerous lost soul. When Rukia is severely wounded defending Ichigo from the Hollow, she attempts to transfer half of her Reiatsu {Spiritual Pressure} energy to Ichigo so that he can defeat the Hollow. However, Ichigo takes almost all of her reiatsu, transforming into a Shinigami and allowing him to defeat the Hollow with ease. With her powers diminished, Rukia is left stranded in the human world until she can recover her strength. In the meantime, Ichigo must take over Rukia's role as a Shinigami, battling Hollows and guiding souls to the afterlife realm known as the Soul Society {SÅru Sosaeti}.
As time passes and Rukia has yet to return to the Soul Society, her Shihigami superiors learn about her whereabouts and actions and sentence her to death for performing the illegal act of transferring her powers. Although Ichigo is unable to stop Rukia's departure to the Soul Society, Ichigo resolves to rescue her with the aid of several of his spiritually aware classmates, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Ishida UryÅ«, and the black cat ShihÅin Yoruichi and Urahara Kisuke. Once at the Soul Society, Ichigo and company battle against the elites of the Shinigami military and strive to reach Rukia before her execution. It is revealed that Rukia's execution and Ichigo's rescue attempt both had been manipulated by a high-ranking Shinigami, Aizen SÅsuke, who was previously believed to have been murdered, as part of a far-reaching plot to take control of the Soul Society. Aizen betrays his fellow Shinigami and allies himself with the strongest of the Hollows, the Espadas. Aizen thus becomes the main antagonist of the series, and the Shinigami form an alliance with Ichigo. At this point, Bleach chronicles the war between the Shinigami, the Espadas, and Aizen himselft. After each of the involved's eventual defeats, Ichigo undergoes intense training with his father Ishin. As Aizen is weakened, a spell that Urahara had previously hidden within him activates and seals him, thus ending the conflict and leaving the Soul Society to imprison him. As a result of using a technique called the Final Getsuga Tensho to defeat Aizen, Ichigo steadily loses his Shinigami powers and start to become an ordinary human once again.

MiyamuraMari Illustrious Makinami, a new Evangelion pilot, is launched in Provisional Unit-05 to destroy the resuscitated skeleton of the Third Angel in its attack on NERV's arctic Bethany Base. She successfully defeats the Angel by self-destructing Unit-05, safely ejecting at the last moment. Meanwhile, Shinji Ikari and his father Gendo visit Yui's grave, with the Seventh Angel attacking shortly after, though it is dispatched by the newly arrived Unit-02 and its headstrong pilot, Asuka Langley Shikinami. Chief Inspector Ryoji Kaji, present at the battle with Unit-05 and arriving alongside Unit-02, delivers a suitcase to Gendo containing an object referred to as the "Key of Nebuchadnezzar" and notes that the destruction of Unit-05 went as planned. Later Shinji, Asuka, and Rei engage the Eighth Angel, showing a previously lacking teamwork. In the battle, both Unit-00 and Unit-01 are damaged, but SEELE orders only the latter be repaired, as the former is no longer needed.
Gendo and Kozo Fuyutsuki visit Tabgha Base on the Moon to view SEELE's progress on the mysterious "Evangelion Mark.06." Though they are denied landing, they confirm that Mark.06's construction is different from the other Evangelions and briefly see Kaworu Nagisa sitting on its finger. On Earth, Shinji decides to cook an extra lunch for Rei. Inspired, Rei asks Gendo for permission to host a dinner party (which he initially refuses before remembering Yui's request to take care of Shinji). Rei invites everyone to her home for a home-cooked meal, with the intention of helping repair Gendo and Shinji's relationship. Mari arrives in Tokyo-3 by parachute, rather than in the covert manner she intended, landing on Shinji in the process. Soon after, Evangelion Unit-04 and NERV's U.S. branch are destroyed during a test of an experimental engine, causing the U.S. government to send the completed Unit-03 to Tokyo-3. In accordance with the "Vatican Treaty", where no nation is allowed to possess more than three functioning Evangelions at a time, Unit-02 is sealed off.
Rei is initially chosen to pilot the new Eva, which is to be tested on the same day as her planned dinner, but when Asuka realizes how Rei feels about Shinji, she volunteers to take her place. The activation of Unit-03, however, goes terribly wrong and it is possessed by the Ninth Angel. As NERV's only functional Evangelion, Unit-01 is sent against it, but Shinji refuses to fight for fear of harming Asuka, who is still trapped inside. Gendo orders the activation of Unit-01's dummy plug system and the now autonomous Evangelion savagely dismembers the Angel, crushing the entry plug in its teeth. Shinji is distraught over his father's actions and decides to quit NERV. Asuka survives, but is grievously injured and placed in quarantine for fear of mental contamination by the Angel. After Shinji says his goodbyes and boards a train headed out of the city, the Tenth Angel attacks. Gendo attempts to send out Unit-01 in the dummy system, but it refuses. Mari hijacks Unit-02 and heads out to fight the Angel, activating a "berserker" mode that removes the unit's restraints. Rei emerges in a damaged Unit-00 and the two work together to penetrate the Angel's AT-Field and damage it with an N² mine-armed missile, but this fails to destroy it.

Two years have passed since Edward Elric was dragged from his homeworld through the Gate of Alchemy to the parallel world of Earth in the year 1923, which is fundamentally governed by the laws of modern science instead of alchemy. Stripped of his alchemical powers and his newly restored arm and leg, Edward researches rocketry in Munich, Germany with his friend Alfons Heiderich, a young man who resembles his brother Alphonse, in the hopes of returning to his world. One day, Edward rescues a troubled, persecuted gypsy woman named Noah from being sold. Noah is taken in by Edward to live with him and Heiderich, and begins having visions concerning Edward's life in his world. The next day, Edward meets Fritz Lang, a Jewish film director resembling King Bradley, who persuades Edward into helping him hunt down a "dragon" he has been seeking out for inspiration for his next film. The dragon, which turns out to be homunculus Envy, attacks Edward until he is weakened and captured by members of the Thule Society.
The Thule Society, led by Karl Haushofer and Dietlinde Eckhart, use Envy and Edward's kidnapped father Hohenheim as catalysts to open a portal to Ed's world, believing it to be the utopia Shamballa. A number of armored soldiers are sent through the portal, only to emerge on the other side in the city of Liore as mutated zombie-like creatures. Alphonse, who had come to visit Liore, fights off the armored soldiers and merges a part of his soul to one of their suits in the hopes of finding Edward on the other side. In the real world, Edward breaks into the Thule Society headquarters and accidentally reopens the portal, returning the dead armored soldiers to Earth and allowing Alphonse's armored form to briefly reunite with his brother before his soul returns to his body, increasing Edward's determination to return to his world.
Alphonse is guided by the homunculus Wrath to the underground city beneath Amestris's Central City to reopen the Gate of Alchemy. There they are attacked by the homunculus Gluttony, who brutally fights and mortally wounds Wrath. At Wrath's insistence, Alphonse transmutes and sacrifices the two homunculi to use as material to open the Gate. Meanwhile, in Munich, the Thule Society persuades Noah into guiding them on how to correctly open the Gate based on what she had learned from reading Edward's mind. Edward learns that the Thule Society plans to use the weapons from his world in order to help Adolf Hitler in his attempt to start a revolution, and heads to stop them. Hohenheim and Envy are both transmuted at the same time that Alphonse transmutes Gluttony and Wrath. With the Gate opened, Eckhart successfully leads a fleet into the other world, where she gains the ability to use alchemy. However, she begins to go mad with power and fear of her new surroundings and launches an attack on Central City. Heiderich launches Edward in a rocket-powered plane to return to his world before being gunned down.
Edward appears in his world and is reunited with Alphonse and his friend Winry Rockbell, who fits Edward with new automail limbs. The military manages to stop most of Eckhart's soldiers with the help of Roy Mustang. Edward battles Eckhart before Alphonse transmutes parts of his soul to a group of armors, which attack her and force her to retreat. Upon reappearing to the real world, Eckhart is covered by shadow creatures from the Gate and killed by an officer out of alarm of her new, monstrous appearance. Knowing the danger the connection between the two worlds poses, Edward returns to Earth to seal the Gate on that side, knowing he will be trapped on Earth forever. Instead of sealing the Gate on the other world's side as per Edward's request, however, Alphonse has Mustang seal the Gate and secretly follows Edward to remain with his brother. Following Heiderich's funeral, the Elric brothers leave Munich with Noah with the intention of destroying the weapons meant to be used in Hitler's attack and enjoy their new lives together on Earth.

The 10th Division, led by TÅshirÅ Hitsugaya and Rangiku Matsumoto is sent to escort an artifact known as the "King's Seal", which is stolen during transport from the Soul Society by an unidentified and masked Soul Reaper and two mysterious Arrancar resembling girls who control fire and lightning. During the attack, Hitsugaya corners and seems to recognize the Soul Reaper, who wounds him and leaves. In the middle of battle, Hitsugaya abandons his post to pursue him and leaves his squad behind to fend for themselves. After the battle, Soul Society suspects Hitsugaya of treason and orders his immediate capture. The whole 10th Squad is then put under house arrest at which time they can surmise whether or not the division should be abolished.
With the whole of Soul Society looking for Hitsugaya, Ichigo as a soul reaper on patrol accidentally stumbles upon 2nd Division Captain Suì-FÄng while she is conducting an investigation of the transport site. Suì-FÄng informs him of the events happening in the Soul Society and dispels the kido surrounding them. As Suì-FÄng disappears, Uryu Ishida meets with Ichigo and TÅshirÅ makes his presence known and passes out in front of them. Awakening in the Kurosaki residence, TÅshirÅ abandons his Captain's Robe and replaces it with the thief's cloak, and when confronted by Ichigo about leaving, refuses to explain what's happening. In the midst of their discussion, Ichigo is attacked by the two previous arrancar before he can force the issue. TÅshirÅ escapes, and continues to avoid and attempt of capture by Izuru Kira and Shuhei Hisagi, and things only look worse when the deviated Soul Reaper thief, identified as Former Soul Reaper SÅjirÅ Kusaka, uses HyÅrinmaru, a zanpakutÅ with identical powers to Hitsugaya's, to injure 8th Division Captain Shunsui KyÅraku. The 6th Division is sent in to investigate this attack, with Byakuya Kuchiki confirming it to be done by HyÅrinmaru. TÅshirÅ's capture is then made top priority and his execution is approved.
Meanwhile, back in the human world, Rukia has caught up with Ichigo. The group, along with Ishida, Orihime Inoue and Yasutora Sado exchange information, and Rukia reveals rather surprising, in-depth knowledge of Hitsugaya's personality, as well as some rather accurate guesses as to what Hitsugaya plans to do next. During the talk, Ichigo realizes what might be troubling Hitsugaya and leaves to find him.
Through his wandering to avoid capture, TÅshirÅ eventually manages to track SÅjirÅ down, where it is revealed that the two managed to manifest the same zanpakutÅ. Because it is impossible for the same zanpakuto to be wielded in Soul Society, the two were forced to fight to the death by the Central 46 Chambers of Soul Society. TÅshirÅ did not wish to fight, but was left with no other option as Kusaka attacked, claiming that he was the only one worthy of HyÅrinmaru. In the fight, Kusaka is defeated by TÅshirÅ and the authorities concluded that TÅshirÅ was the true owner of HyÅrinmaru, with the Military Corps carrying out his execution. Cursing Soul Society and its authorities, Kusaka died and was reborn in Hueco Mundo, where he became a hollow and started his plans of revenge against the Soul Society. Once he learned of the King's Seal and its powers, which allows the user to freely manipulate time, space, and matter within a small space, he leapt at the opportunity to settle the score with both Hitsugaya and Soul Society.

Two years after the defeat of Majin Buu in the main Dragon Ball Z series, Mr. Satan finally finishes construction on his brand new hotel. Feeling guilty that the hotel is in honor of what the majority of Earth believes to be his defeat of Buu, he invites all of the Z-Fighters and their families to a banquet. Everyone but Goku agrees to go until he is told that there will be "all you can eat" banquet. All the Z Fighters, including Supreme Kai, Bubbles, King Kai, and Kibito, show up. Goku and Vegeta decide to spar, as they have dressed in their usual fighting outfits. Shortly after dinner, two Saiyan spaceships land just outside of town, and a mysterious Saiyan and his wife confront the Z-Fighters at the hotel. They are revealed to be Vegeta's younger brother, Tarble, who had been deemed too weak to fight in the past and was sent to a distant star before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, and his wife Gure, who is a small, cartoon-like alien (which prompt to master Roshi to remark that Saiyans have "odd wives"). Tarble asks his brother for help in dealing with Abo and Cado, soldiers who are remnants of Frieza's army, who are causing havoc on his planet. Goku and Vegeta argue over who fights the brothers, even their sons and friends offer to join in, but so many fighting two people will seem unfair, so Goku comes up with a solution to solve the issue.
As Abo and Cado land, the Z-Fighters pick radishes from Goku and Chi Chi's garden to determine who will battle the duo. Everyone picks short radishes until Goten picks out the apparent longest. Jealous, Vegeta tells Trunks to pick one that is longer. Pressured by his father, Trunks picks out what appears to be a short radish, but it turns out to be the longes (all the way down to the mountain) This means that Trunks wins and is chosen to fight and the battle begins. However, Abo and Cado are two opponents, Goku asks Vegeta to let Goten fight with Trunks, but Vegeta says that Trunks is enough. Nevertheless, Goku lets Goten join Trunks, which prompts an angry outburst from Vegeta but he relents after his wife calms him. When the battle begins, without going Super Saiyan, the children easily defeat the two soldiers. However, when Abo and Cado create doubles of themselves, the boys get beaten easily. Irritated, Vegeta shouts at Trunks to read their ki and says that Trunks has forgotten the basics. When his wife says it is because he never taught Trunks basics, Vegeta says he lacks motivation like her, prompting an argument between them and Goku says its not the time for a marital quarrel. With a little help from Goten's brother Gohan, they are able to fight and seem to have favor in the fight. Everyone except for Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo, go back to the hotel. As the battle is almost over, Abo and Cado fuse into their larger, more powerful form, Aka.

Synopsis
Desperate for cash, the Straw Hat Pirates enter a secret race between pirate crews known as the Dead End Competition. There, they must battle against powerful people, including a former Marine-turned-pirate with a bounty higher than Crocodile's, Captain Gasparde, and the bounty hunter who wants to kill him. However, with Gasparde's deadly scheme, are all of his opponents doomed from the start?
Plot
The movie starts with a marine ship that is caught in a large storm with numerous cyclones firing at a then unnamed pirate ship. The captain of the ship is told (after a brief discourse) that the ship they are firing at is the Going Merry, with its infamous straw hat jolly roger. Due to the stormy weather and Nami's exceptional navigational skills, the ship is shown sailing away unscathed, leaving the marine pursuants behind. The captain of the ship is then called by headquarters, and informed to keep looking out for pirates who are gathering in the area, and told to look out for a man by the name of Gasparde, "the marines indellible stain". The crew (as of the Jaya arc) is then shown chowing down on some food in a pirate filled bar. A mysterious man talks to the bartender then presents him with two 100 Beli coins, and the man is then taken by the bartender through a door.Nami gets suspicious because she "smells money" and asks the bartender what is going on, and after a little coaxing he tells them there is a great but very dangerous opportunity through the door. As the crew enters the mysterious door they are surprised to see it is the opening to a large tunnel, the bartender leaves them with one last hint "the password is 2 100 Beli coins"
As the crew approaches the ending of the tunnel an old man approaches, Nami shows him the coins and he lets them through. Inside they find themselves in a large cave filled with pirates, their flags proudly displaying their crew.
Nico Robin finally recognizes the place (she was here before with another pirate crew) as the site of the Dead End Race, a very dangerous anything goes sailing competition which the winner can win up to 300,000,000 Beli. The crew is introduced to the favorites to win that year, 2 giants, a Fishman and former rival of Arlong, and the favorited to win-Gasparde, a former marine general who deserted after killing his crew. Chopper's Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals is the third animated feature film of the franchise and the first to additionally star Ikue Ohtani as Tony Tony Chopper. It premiered in Japan on March 2, 2002 and was released to DVD on October 21, 2002.[9] The film was shown in a double bill with Digimon Tamers: Runaway Locomon. Starting with their first week of showing, the films made a six weeks run in the Top 10 of the Japanese box office, placing third in the first two weeks, fifth and fourth in the third and fourth weeks, respectively, and sixth in the fifth and sixth weeks.[10] In total, they earned 2,000,000,000 Japanese yen, according to the Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan[8] and 13,107,237 United States dollar, according to Box Office Mojo.[7] The film was show along with a six-minute featurette short named Dream Soccer King!.
With Chopper as their newest member, the Straw Hats arrive at the Island of Strange Animals. Before they can land, a geyser-like fountain sends their ship flying. Chopper falls off and lands in the middle of a gathering of animals. They are performing a ritual, which according to their legend, is supposed to cause a king to fall from the heavens. Believing that legend fulfilled, they proclaim Chopper their new king. The other Straw Hats, searching for their lost crewmate, make the acquaintance of the self-proclaimed genius and expert treasure hunter Count Butler, with his henchmen General Hot Dog and President Snake. Butler is in search of the horns of a particular animal living on the island, which when eaten bestows great power upon the eater. For that purpose, he uses a hoard of bovinae-like animals called horn eaters, which he controls by playing music on a special violin, to round up horn bearing animals. The Straw Hats, unknowingly, lead Butler to Chopper and the group of animals, whose king he has become. Butler gives the gathered animals an ultimatum, to hand over their king, whose horns he believes to be what he is looking for, or to be crushed by his horn eaters. But Chopper does not need to be turned over. He steps forward himself and lures the horn eaters away from the island's animals. A fight ensues and it does not take long until the remaining Straw Hats join in to take their fill. Zoro takes on Hot Dog and Sanji fights with Snake, while Usopp and Nami take care of the horn eaters. Butler fights with Chopper and is about to finish him off, when Momambi, a young boy and only human inhabitant of the island shows up with the former king's horns to lure Butler away from Chopper. The plan backfires, as Butler gets hold of the horns, quickly stuffs them down, and transforms into a large, horned, gorilla-like animal. With that he appears to be winning, until the islands animals and Luffy enter the fight. Luffy defeats Butler, breaks his horns, thus canceling his transformation, and sends him flying. Mobambi fears to be exiled from the island for losing the former king's horns, but instead is elected to be the new animal king.
